Jerry Wayne Bowles

Jerry Wayne Bowles, age 67 of Dayton, Ohio passed this earthly world on Tuesday, May 13, 2025. Jerry was born January 19, 1958, the son of the late Clifford Bowles and the late Masako Nagahara Bowles. He was also preceded in death by his wife, Suzan Bowles and brother, Richard Bowles.

Jerry was a 1976 graduate of Stebbins High School. He continued with his education at Wright State University receiving a Bachelor's Degree and received many certifications throughout his career in the Air Force. Veteran of the United States Air Force, Jerry retired as a Senior Master Sergeant, with 26 years of service. After retiring from the Air Force, he worked for the FAA for 8 years and finally retired in 2016.

He enjoyed working on his race car, deer hunting, going to the range, fixing anything and everything. And most of all, his love for his family. Jerry was a very strong personality, which made him so loyal, and he would do anything for anyone he cared about. He had a wonderful sense of humor, with goals to make everyone crack a smile or laugh.

He is survived by his loving, live in companion of 12 years, Ann Arthur, his brothers: Tom(Mariann)Bowles, Rick Bowles, and James(Julie)Bowles, sister Diana(Greg)Roth, nieces and nephews: Matt Bowles and Eric (Kasey)Bowles, Justin McCreery and Mike McCreery (Holly Goines), Nate Bowles and Devin(Krystina)Bowles, and Taylor(Cameron)Reed, great-nieces and great-nephews: Jacqueline Bowles, Del and Kai Bowles; Ritchie, Amyah and Kaiya McCreery; Kali and Kameron Bowles.

Family to receive friends 12:00pm to 1:30pm Tuesday, May 20, 2025 at the Tobias Funeral Home-Beavercreek Chapel; with service at 1:30pm, officiated by David Crews. Military rites and burial to follow in the Mt. Zion Park Cemetery.
