Jo Anne Reno

Jo Anne Reno went home to be with our Lord on May 21, 2015. Jo Anne was the glue that seemed to bind our family together. Within minutes of meeting her, you felt you had known her for years. How do you describe a life well lived? She didn’t wait until the twilight of her life to appreciate God’s gifts. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, daughter, sister and friend. Her children are all a reflection of Jo Anne’s love. Her focus for her cats, dogs, and horses was boundless and inspirational. Jo Anne’s happiest moments were spent gardening, camping, or hiking always with family, friends and pets. She and her husband were active members of Crossview Christian Church.

She is survived by her husband of 41 years, Joseph M. Reno, her children Elizabeth R. Gigis and her husband Michael P. Gigis, Elaine M. Reno and her husband Brian Hearn, and Eric J. Reno and his wife Felicia Hans; her mother Charlotte L. Donaldson; siblings Steven Donaldson and his wife Elizabeth, Wayne Donaldson and his wife, Sharon. She was preceded in death by her father Charles M. Donaldson and her sister Marcia L. Coon.

Visitation will be held from 11am to 1pm on Monday, May 25, 2015 at Crossview Christian Church 4273 E. Social Row Rd, Waynesville, OH 45068. A memorial service will be held at 1pm with lunch to follow. In lieu of flowers, Jo Anne requested donations be sent to Wapiyapi, a non-profit camp for children affected by pediatric cancer.
