Jon Stanton Hopkins, age 81, of Mason, Ohio passed away on Monday, May 19, 2025. He was preceded in death by his parents, Harry and Anita Hopkins, sister Linda Sparks, and daughter-in-law Dawn Frazier. He is survived by his wife, Carmen (Compton) Hopkins; children, Michael (Ranee) Hopkins, Jay Hopkins, Anita Hopkins, Troy (his late wife Dawn) Frazier, Chuck (Amy) Frazier; grandchildren, Tyler (Caitlyn) Frazier, Maxwell James, Theo James, Dexter James, Gavin Hopkins; 3 great-grandchildren, and siblings Sheryl (Fred Link) Sollars and Jeff Hopkins. Jon graduated from Kingman High School in 1961, from Wilmington College and received his Masters from Xavier. He coached basketball and was a teacher at Mason High School for 15 years. Jon was a State Farm Agent for 39 years, retiring in 2019. Services will be held privately at the convenience of the family. Memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude's Children's Fund or the SPCA.
