Joy was born in Knoxville, Tennessee the daughter of the late James and Mary Alice Hammond.
Joy is preceded in death by her parents and her brother, Jim Hammond. She is survived by her daughter Liz Hall (Scott), son Ken Oxley, sister in-law Donna Hammond, as well as 6 Grandchildren and 5 Great Grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
A gathering of family and friends for Joy will be held Monday, November 4, 2024 from 5:00 to 7:00 pm at Tobias Funeral Home – Far Hills Chapel, 5471 Far Hills Avenue Dayton, Ohio 45429.
