Joyce Marie Damron

Joyce Marie Damron, age 71, of Dayton passed away on Tuesday, July 29, 2025, at Hospice of Dayton surrounded by her cherished family. She entered this world on Holly Avenue in Dayton on May 24, 1954, to late Jesse L. Kline and Lula Mae Roberts.

Aside from her loving parents, Joyce is preceded in death by her two sisters, Janet Foster and Linda Spangler.

Left behind to mourn her passing are her two beloved sons, Aaron (Stacie) Damron and Mike Damron; and her two cherished grandchildren, Maya and Mason. She also leaves behind several extended family and close friends.

After graduating from Belmont High School, Joyce began a lifelong career at Miami Valley Hospital where she worked in various roles until her retirement. Joyce spent most of her adult life living in a charming house in Bellbrook, which she adored.

Among her many passions, Joyce loved gardening and reading. She was a fabulous cook, who enjoyed cooking delicious meals for those she cared about. She will be fondly remembered as a special lady, who possessed wisdom and strength as well as a quirky sense of humor. Joyce’s greatest joy was being a mother, grandmother who had heart of gold.

A funeral service for Joyce will take place at NOON on Monday, August 4th, 2025, in Tobias Funeral Home (648 Watervliet Avenue, Dayton, Ohio 45420) with calling hours held from 10:00 a.m. until the start of service. Pastor Sherrill Jenning will officiate the funeral service. Interment will follow at Woodland Cemetery
