Judy Anne Davis

DAVIS, Judy Anne, 66, of Centerville, OH passed away on Saturday, Sept. 16, 2017 after a lengthy illness. She was born on Feb. 18, 1951 in Cleveland, OH. She will be remembered as a devoted mother with a quick wit, keen sense of humor and a deadly sense of sarcasm. She was a graduate of Warren Western Reserve in 1969, and attended Kent State University. After her marriage, she extensively traveled the world satisfying her quest for history and knowledge. She was a loving and caring mother to her sons, Thomas of Miamisburg, OH and Andrew of Centerville, OH. Judy always had a story to tell whether it was stories from when she lived in New Delhi India, having high tea in London or bragging on her sons of which she was endlessly proud. She enjoyed reading the classics, fine art, keeping up with the latest news and deep discussions. She was a connoisseur of knowledge and could engage anyone on any topic from any walk of life.

Besides her sons she will be greatly missed by her mother, Mary Anne Nell of Warren, OH; brothers, Larry Nell of Warren, OH and George (Susan) Nell of Gardiner, MT; sisters, Nancy (Harley) Palmer of Newmarket, NH and Linda Nell (Stephan Stenson) of Warren, OH; nieces, Timothea, Katie, Becky, Jessica and Heather who always could to go to Judy for advice, help or a shoulder to cry on.

In addition to her father, Judy was proceeded in death by her brother, Dan. There will be a gathering of friends at TOBIAS FUNERAL HOME-FAR HILLS CHAPEL, 5471 Far Hills Ave. at Rahn Rd.
