Kenneth Lynn Garrison

Kenneth L. Garrison, age 61 of New Jasper Township, passed away Tuesday, June 7, 2016 at Hospice of Dayton. He was preceded in death by a granddaughter, Flora Miguel, as well as one brother, one sister and his parents. He is survived by his wife of 21 years, Robin Garrison. His children also survive him: Nicole (Shane) Groves, Jessica (Mariano) Miguel, Kenneth L. Garrison Jr. and Jason Rosell, as do six grandchildren: Madyson, Dylan, Rolando, Mariano Jr., Hunter and Nevaeh, and one brother, Roger Garrison. Kenny was a CNC machine operator at GE Aviation (formerly Elano Corp.) for 29 years. He had a sharp mind and was a smart, funny, and exceedingly kind person. Family came first for Kenny; he was a loving and involved husband, father and grandfather to his family. He had excellent “on the fly” engineering skills and could repair anything that needed fixing, usually with a special “twist”. Friends may call on his family on Saturday, June 11, 2016 at the Tobias Funeral Home Beavercreek Chapel, 3970 Dayton-Xenia Rd. from 3-5 PM. A funeral service will be held at 5 PM Saturday with Pastor Don Payne officiating. In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to either Hospice of Dayton or The American Cancer Society in Ken’s memory.
