Kimberly Ann Shields, 67, of Centerville, Ohio passed away peacefully at home on June 22, 2024, following a courageous battle with cancer. Kim was defined by the joy and love she spread throughout her life.
Kim is preceded in death by her mother, Mary O’Connor, and is survived by her father Richard O’Connor, her three siblings Karyn, Doug, and Dan (Nicole) O’Connor, her husband of 44 years and love of her life Michael Shields, children Katie Collins (Chase) and David Shields, and grandchildren Bennett & Emilia Collins and Freya Shields.
Kim dedicated her life to the service of others, whether at home with her family, at work at Incarnation School for over 25 years, or in her community. She was a light to all who knew her, an involved and devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and friend. She was a talented cook and baker, loved to travel with her family, and was the very best at song trivia night.
In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation to Incarnation School in Kim’s name in support of teachers and students to continue her legacy at the place she loved most. (https://incarnation-school.com/give-back/)
Services to celebrate Kim’s life will be held at Incarnation Church on Wednesday July 10 at 10:30 am with a reception to follow. Visitation services will also be held the previous evening, July 9 at Tobias Funeral Home Washington Township from 4-7 pm. All who knew and loved Kim are welcomed to join her family in remembrance of her life and legacy.
