Meyers, L. Ruth, age 91 of Miamisburg, passed away on Friday, April 27, 2018. She was preceded in death by her parents, Naomi and Holbert Eastland and siblings. Ruth is survived by her loving husband of 68 years, Lawrence Meyers; 5 children: Larry Meyers, Charlotte (Thomas) Henderson, Joseph Meyers, James (Renee) Meyers, and John (Natalia) Meyers; a brother Franklin (Irma) Eastland; 6 grandsons; 4 granddaughters; and 7 great-grandchildren. Ruth loved teaching, she had her Master’s Degree in teaching and taught in Michigan and subbed in Ohio. Ruth was a very active member of the Fairhaven Church on 637 E Whipp Road, Centerville, Ohio 45459, where the Funeral Service will be held on May 10th at 11 AM. Friends may visit at the church from 9 AM until the time of service. Burial will be in David’s Cemetery. Memorial Donations may be made to the church in Ruth's name.
