Our wonderful Larry joined his beloved son Jeffrey on Sunday November 15th after a heroic battle with pancreatic cancer. He will be missed greatly by many but especially by the love of his life, wife Debby, daughter Angi (Crawford) Shupert, granddaughter Brandi Shupert, grandson Brenden Isaacs, sister Debbie Eldridge (Jeff), loving nieces, and nephews.
Larry was born to Adrian and Dorothy Crawford April 27, 1943. Growing up he worked at his father’s Sunoco station while attending Beavercreek schools. He graduated from Beavercreek HS in 1961. Moving on to the University of Cincinnati he earned a degree as an aeronautics engineer, and later got his masters from UD. He worked at WPAFB designing engines for military planes. He married Debby in 1967 and welcomed 2 children and a granddaughter in their 53 years together. After retiring from the base after 32 years he volunteered and worked part time at MVH. He and Debby bought a motor home and traveled the US meeting many wonderful friends. He was a member of the Milton Club of Dayton where he served on the board and organized the golf league for a number of years. Larry made numerous friends in his 77 years on this earth and touched many lives he will be remembered fondly by all. The family has decided not to have any services at this time but ask that you hug your loved ones a little tighter in these trying times for tomorrow isn’t promised, embrace the the time you have. In lieu of flowers please donate to the charity of your choice or Hospice of Dayton.
