LaVerne A. Marchetti

Marchetti, LaVerne Antonette, age 87 passed away January 21, 2014. She was preceded in death by her loving husband of 55 years, Roy Robert Marchetti, and her parents John and Mary (Psivowarski) Nowakowski. She is survived by her two daughters, Betsy Marchetti of New York City and Virginia Kasper of Kettering, Ohio, son-in-law Phil Kasper, and two grandchildren Nikolas and Caroline. As well, two brothers Kenneth and Robert Nowakowski both from Chicago, IL along with numerous nieces and nephews. LaVerne received a scholarship of excellence to the University of Illinois in Champagne, IL. She worked as an office manager for various industries including law and engineering. LaVerne had a passion for travel including trips to Paris, London, Rome, Germany, and Austria. She loved playing bridge and in 1994 she received a life master certificate of achievement.
