Lenard Watts, age 91, passed away on April 3, 2022. He was born in Perry County, Kentucky, on June 9, 1930, the son of the late Curtis and Katie (Gwinn) Watts. He was preceded in death by his parents; his beloved wife, Beulah, and siblings Gertrude Gwinn, Goble Watts, Burton Watts, R.D. Watts, Dennis Watts, Gora Bell Dunn, Laverna Napier, Ruth Noble and Dora Stewart. Lenard is survived by many nieces and nephews and family members.
Lenard was married to his beloved wife Beulah for sixty-five years. Lenard was a US Army veteran and retired from General Motors Delco Moraine. In his free time, Lenard enjoyed bluegrass music, gardening, canning, hunting, and woodworking. He never met a stranger and was a friend to everyone he met. He will be sadly missed by all who knew him.
A visitation for Lenard will be held Wednesday, April 13, 2022, from 12:00 pm to 2:00 pm at Tobias Funeral Home 3970 Dayton Xenia Road, Beavercreek, Ohio, followed by a funeral service at 2:00 pm. Burial will follow at Valley View Memorial Gardens, 170 N. Valley Rd. Xenia, Ohio.
