Letha Joyce Joyce Madigan

MADIGAN, Letha Joyce (Cox), 68 of Henderson NV passed away peacefully in her home on August 23, 2011. She was born August 20, 1943 in Dayton, OH and was a resident of Henderson for 10 years. She worked at Wright Patterson Air Force Base for 39 years and retired in 2001. She was a member of the Beta Sigma Phi sorority both Xi Theta Epsilon (Dayton) and Laureate Tau (Henderson) chapters. She was a cancer survivor of 15 years and was a true fighter. She was full of love and was devoted to her family and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents Lawrence V. and Dorothy (Goens) Cox as well as her bother Lawrence Cox. She is survived by husband of 37 years Mike Madigan, and four children Sean Madigan (Crystal) of Hilliard, OH, Jennifer Tschirhart Gallagher (Jeff) of Colorado Springs, CO, Shannon Madigan Baker (Robert) of Owensville, OH and Michael Madigan of Cincinnati, OH as well as a sister Joan Cox Collett and brother James Cox (Debi) both of Dayton, OH. In addition, she is survived by 5 grandchildren Hannah Gallagher, Breanna Madigan, Abbey Baker, Zach Baker and Keegan Madigan as well as countless cousins and other family members. A viewing will be held on Wednesday August 31, 2011 5pm to 8pm including a Beta Sigma Phi memorial at 7pm and funeral services will be on Thursday September 1, 2011 starting at 11am at TOBIAS FUNERAL HOME, 5471 Far Hills Ave., Dayton, OH 45249.
