Marilyn Ann Baumgartner

Baumgartner, Marilyn Ann (Gaunce), 86, of Dayton, OH passed away September 17, 2016 at Hospice of Dayton. She is preceded in death by her loving husband of 64 years, David; one son Donald; parents Samuel and Mamie (Cook) Gaunce. Marilyn is survived by two daughters, Ann (Timothy) Schnapp and Susan (Robert) Haas; son Douglas (Darlene); seven grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. She was a 1952 graduate of the Cincinnati College of Music, earning a Bachelor of Music degree, and a member of the Mu Phi Epsilon music sorority. Marilyn worked as a church organist and secretary for St. Andrew’s Episcopal Church, as well as a substitute organist at several other churches. She enjoyed helping others and was a volunteer at Good Samaritan Hospital for many years. A memorial service will be held on Saturday afternoon, October 22, 2016 at 2 PM at the Clearcreek Chapel, 2738 Pennyroyal Rd, Miamisburg, OH 45342. The family will receive friends from 1 PM until the time of service. Interment will be in Lakeside Memorial Garden at the convenience of the family.
