Marilyn Jane Bishop

Marilyn was born January 16, 1948 in Schenectady, New York to her parents, Arthur and Lois Hausner.

She is survived by her loving husband of 48 years, Jeff Bishop, her children, Scott and Kristin, her children in – laws Heather Bishop and Eric Swanson, her sister, Barbara Rivard, her brother Kenneth Hausner, and her five grandchildren, Drew, Dylan, and Devynn Grace Bishop and Sean, Ryan Swanson.

Marilyn was a devoted soul who epitomized what it looks like to place others before herself. Her soul, her very smile, touched and impacted so many people from so many different walks of life. Even in her final moments, she placed the feelings and care of others before herself and did so with a polite courtesy that is unmatched.

A memorial service will be held Saturday, April 13, 2019 @ SouthBrook Christian Church (9095 Washington Church Road, Miamisburg, OHIO 45342). A reception will be held from 10:00am-11:45am with a short service immediately following.
