Mark Alan Essman, 68, passed away on March 31, 2026. Born on January 26, 1958, Mark will be remembered as a humorous, kind-hearted, generous, and thoughtful man whose presence brought comfort, laughter, and warmth to those who knew him.
Mark graduated from Carroll High School in 1976.
He worked at Norandex for over 20 years, a testament to his dedication and steady commitment.
Mark married the love of his life, Barbara Essman, and together they built a life centered on family and care for one another.
He was a fervent Viking and Yankees sports fan and enjoyed golfing with family and friends. More than anything, Mark’s greatest joy was spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren, whom he adored. He was always making those around him laugh, and he truly loved to make others happy.
Mark is survived by his wife, Barbara Essman; step sons, Bryan (Jessica) Wilson and Casey Cole; daughter-in-law, Phyllis Ober (Matt); grandchildren, Austin Ober, Morgan Ober (Kyle), and Ashley Wilson; and brothers, Joe Essman (Robin) and Mike Essman (Kathy).
Mark was preceded in death by parents, Raymond Essman and Marlene Essman.
Per Mark’s request, there will be no services observed.
