Mary Brennan

BRENNAN, Mary C (Georges), age 88 of Kettering, departed on Thursday, January 7, 2016 to reunite with her Parents, John and Louise (Kuebler) Georges, Husband of 56 years, Richard Brennan and daughter-in-law of 40 years, Barb Brennan. She leaves behind her four Children—Mike (Deborah Wilder), Dan, Kathy and Kevin (Karen), former daughter-in-law Pam Brennan and longtime friend Barb Heider, Six Grandchildren—Mic Brennan, Jenny (Mike) Beachler, Tina Smith, Chris (Stephanie) Brennan, Katie (Alan) Halberg and Andrea (John) Coppock. Nineteen Great-Grandchildren—Drew, Evan, Kylea, Trevor, Jessica, Brady, Josie, Brennan, Henry, Sophie, Logan, Keira, Wyatt, Ty, Colten, Autumn, Coral, Avery and Alisha. Her surviving siblings of Clinton County are Rosie Georges, Betty Bowers and GG Walker. Proceeding were Martha Jane Custis, Annie McCann and only brother Bud Georges. She is also survived by in-laws, Mary Ann Georges and Carl Custis, as well as a host of cherished nieces and nephews. Mary was the consummate Housewife, Cafeteria Mom, Brownie Leader, Den Mother, Family ping pong Referee and Card Player, while simultaneously working for AC Wahl as a representative at DESC and co-founding the Catholic Federation for Exceptional Children, at a time when there were few services for the developmentally disables. She later served on the boards of Montgomery Co. MR/DD and Resident Home Association for the Developmentally Disabled. The family will receive callers on Monday, January, 11, 2016 from 5:00pm to 7:00pm at Tobias Funeral Home, Belmont Chapel. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Tuesday, January 12, 2016 at 11:00 am at Immaculate Conception Church.
