

Brennan, Mary M., age 97, of Beavercreek Township, passed away peacefully at home on Monday, November 26, 2018, surrounded by her three loving daughters. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband of 63 years, James M. Brennan on August 19, 2011, her parents, Henry and Clara (Zink) Hotopp and five brothers, Russ, Clarence, Ralph, Benjamin and Richard Hotopp. Mary is survived by her three daughters, Sharon and husband, Bob Gemin, of Beavercreek Township, Susan and husband, Alan Yeoman, of Jamestown, Sheila Brennan Keller, of Beavercreek; seven grandchildren, Paul (Rike) Gemin, Gregg (Liz) Gemin, Ed (Andrea) Gemin, Jennifer (Drew) McCamis, Jessica (Kevin) Flaute, Amanda (Chad) Miller and Joey (Dude) Keller; eight great grandchildren, Evan and Liam McCamis, Owen and Lyla Flaute, Elisabeth and Conrad Gemin, Colton and Clay Miller; her sister-in-law, Norma Hotopp and her “bestest” friend, Phyllis Sebastian. Mary was a graduate of Beavercreek High School, Class of 1939. She loved flowers and gardening with her husband, James and enjoyed working on ceramics. The family wishes to extend their heartfelt appreciation to the staff of Hospice of the Miami Valley and Dynamic Senior Solutions for the wonderful love and care given to Mary. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, November 30, 2018, at the Tobias Funeral Home-Beavercreek Chapel, 3970 Dayton-Xenia Road at Grange Hall Road with Chaplain Harry Stewart of Hospice of the Miami Valley officiating. Interment will follow in Calvary Cemetery. The family will receive visitors from 4-7 p.m. on Thursday, November 29, 2018, at the funeral home.
