

Mary was born in Canton, Ohio to parents William Fredrick Ochs and Evelyn Iva Orth Ochs. She grew up in North Dayton and attended Northridge High School, where she graduated in 1952 with honors. In 1953, she married Harley A Kittle, Jr. whom she met when her brother Harold Ochs brought him home with him on leave from the military. They had three children: Deborah, Daniel and William.
Her lifelong passions were gardening, creating new vegetarian recipes, collecting clowns and teapots, and her daily study of the Bible. She enjoyed these throughout her life and passed down her collections to family and friends.
Mary broke the glass ceiling, retiring from Sheridan Healthcorp, the largest Anesthesiology group in the U.S. located in Hollywood, FL, in 1999. She was instrumental in developing software for anesthesia billing, with IBM, that propelled the growth of the company. The development of her career began at Kettering Medical Center, where she held the positions of: Assistant Director of Medical Education in the 1970’s and Recruitment for Sycamore Medical Center when it opened. From there she went to managing the Kettering Anesthesiology Group where she began the development of billing software.
Mary is survived by her children, Deborah Dusseau Razdar and her husband Behzad, Pastor Daniel Kevin Kittle and William Christian Ochs, II. She is survived by her grandchildren, Jolene Hauser (Kris), Jacob Dusseau (Felicia), Whitney Romanoff (Jeremy), Elizabeth Makroro (Ron), William Katadrik (Natalie), Casper Kittle and Seth Ochs. She is survived by her great grandchildren, Bryson McNamara, Coralyn McNamara, Roselyn Hauser, Ella Dusseau, Dorian Dusseau, Oliver Dusseau, Jaxson Romanoff, Ronley Makroro, Bronley Makroro, Faith Makroro, and Sasuke Katadrik.
She is survived by her nieces, Brenda Markee, Pandy Boos, Becky (Brad) Davis, Ellen (Allen) Worthen, and Kathy (Ken) Stem and her nephews David (Rhonda) Boos, Jeff (Sheila) Stutrud, and Tim (Kim) Himes, along with many grandnieces and grandnephews. She wanted special mention of her granddaughter and husband, Jolene and Kris Hauser, and her niece Brenda Markee, for all the assistance they gave her over the past few years. She recognized that they went over and above for her comfort.
Mary was predeceased by her parents, her brother Harold Ochs, her sisters Nettie Boos and Lilah Himes, her nephew Michael Boos and her niece Karen Stutrud, with whom she was very close.
Mary was a lifelong member of the Seventh-day Adventist church and looks forward to the soon return of her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ and her joyful reunion with family and friends on the Resurrection morning. Mary’s ashes will be interred at Miami Valley Memory Gardens.
Mary’s celebration of life service will be held at the Centerville Seventh-day Adventist Church, 456 W Spring Valley Road, Centerville, Ohio 45458 on March 2, 2024 at 3:00p.
