Michael E. Creswell

Michael E. Creswell, age 51, of Xenia, Ohio passed away on Sunday, August 27, 2023 at Soin Medical Center. He is preceded in death by his Mother; Elizabeth Creswell and Sister; Helene Creswell-Fletcher.

Michael is survived by his Father; Thomas Creswell, Wife; Kim Creswell, Children; Tayler (Landon) Hallam, Eric (Girlfriend; Kayla Qumsieh), Kyle (Shelby) Kroner, Grandchildren; Lilly Hallam, Layne Hallam, Truet Hallam, Talia Hallam, Lawson Michael Creswell, Nephew; Kiernan Fletcher, In-Laws; Bill and Patsy Wood, Special Friends; John and Lisa Salyers, and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.

Michael graduated from Xenia High School in 1990 and went on to serve in the U. S. Army. Following his time in the service Michael worked for the City of Xenia for 18 years. He was a remodeling contractor in the past, as well as, on the side. Michael was Chapter Chair of the AFSCME Local 101 Union and enjoyed playing Poker.

Michael was a tough read with a close knit circle, but he loved his wife, kids, and grandkids with all that he had. His loss will leave a huge void in many people’s lives. His smile, sarcasm, and drive will be greatly missed. He was one of a kind. He wasn’t afraid to speak his mind and was very driven. His drive and dedication inspired many people.

In lieu of flowers the family asks that you deposit money into an account that is being established to fund The Mike Creswell Scholarship fund. The scholarship will be granted to a young entrepreneur, tradesman, or carpenter who graduates from Xenia High School. A visitation for Michael will be held Friday, September 1, 2023 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Tobias Funeral Home, 3970 Dayton Xenia Road, Beavercreek, Ohio 45432. A funeral service will occur Saturday, September 2, 2023 at 10:00 AM at Tobias Funeral Home. A burial will occur Saturday, September 2, 2023 at St. Brigid Cemetery, Xenia, Ohio with a lunch to follow.
