I worked for Mike at WPAFB. He enjoyed hearing and telling jokes and stories. Mike liked airplanes, cars,The Man's Club, and an occassional beer exchange.Life is too short for all of us, we need to enjoy family and life as Mike did.

We were very sad to learn of Michael's death. Although we did not know him well, we appreciated the kindness he extended to our grandson as he rode his Big Wheel up & down your driveway... and then joined in with your grandchildren playing in the back yard.  We will miss his presence in the neighborhood.

I was sadden to hear that Mike has left us to be with GOD, as he will be missed by all us who worked with him and knew him as a kind, gentle person, who always had a smile on his face.  Please express my families' condolence to all his family members as he will be greatly missed by all of us.  His service to our nation as a Air Force Member is greatly appreciated by all veterans.

We were so saddened to hear of Mike's passing.  Still can't believe it.  Unfortunately life gets so busy that you lose touch with wonderful friends like you two.  We grew up together there beside you two.  Your children watched ours, you both helped us so much and taught us so much.  We have so many fond memories of all of us in the back yard, whether working,or just hanging out, or at one of the great parties.  I will never forget those great parties, laughing, singing (or trying to) and acting crazy.  You both were always there to help.  Always making everything fun, always with a smile. (Mike was always smiling and laughing, and singing). I'm deeply sadened that we have lost touch and we were not there to help you with your struggle through this terrible illness. You were by far the best uncle a girl could ask for. After my own father passed away and I made my first big move to Dayton Ohio as a young woman you were right there to help with whatever was needed. I enjoyed the 4 years I lived just around the corner from you and the many visits we had as I stopped over on my way home from work. I really enjoyed getting closer to you and learning more about how you and my dad grew up. As Mark and I moved into our first house you were right there helping us move as well as painting every room to help it look more like a home. You are an amazing husband, father, papaw, uncle and friend and I will forever miss you. I know you already have but please give my dad a great big hug and kiss for me.

Mike was a loving and caring husband, father, grandfather, and son-in-law. He was upbeat, happy, and such a positive person. Our love goes out to his family who will miss him so terribly.

My precious brother Michael. I cant believe this time has come so quickly. My heart is broken! Your bravery and determination during this horrible illness was impressive. We thank God everyday for Judy for taking care of you as she did. You made all of us stronger by showing us how. You got to do this your way which is all we could ask for. Dear Judy and family, John and I will miss seeing Mike in the yard and chatting over the hedge. He was a wonderful neighbor and trapper of groundhogs. Our prayers are with you. We are grateful that Mike is at peace now and hope that the memories of beautiful times together will give you solace as well. Mike, Goodbye dear loyal and trusted friend, music partner, co-worker and confidant. We always saw eye to eye on everything, and I so loved being in your company. Nothing could get you down, and you were the life of every party. You were quite possibly the finest man I have ever known, and definitely one of the best friends of my life. Thanks for everything you taught me. Rest in peace. I'm glad your suffering is over.

We had some great times and we always seemed to get into trouble, especially when we would get Randy mad because we touched his new stereo or messed with his 396 Chevy. Michael, I treasure you as the Best Brother, the Best husband to Judy, the best Father and the Best Grandpa to your Grandchildren.  I have learned allot from you and you will in my heart and prayers forever.  RIP, Brother!  I Will always Love you!

There are people you meet in life that you just love at first sight.  Michael and Judy were those people for me.  I met them at 5 AM each morning at LA Fitness.  We, together, would wait for the front desk person to open the door so we could work out.  Over time we became best friends.  

Then Michael got sick and got diagnosed with renal cell cancer, then I got sick and got diagnosed with renal cell cancer.  We have shared many stories, successes, and failures in our cancer months. We have been down this long journey together and we prayed many times that the cancer would not win but in the end, after a long and hard suggle we all lost our best friend.  I can say I am a more enriched person because I met Michael.  His smile, his humor, and his love for life was contagious.  Judy has been right there every step of the way with strength I have never seen before.  I think all those early morning workouts that Michael planned out for her helped make her that way.  

I will truly miss Michael in my life.  I know many people will.  He is in a good, safe, and comfortable place now.  Heaven's gain is our loss.  We miss you!!!  Love, Diane
