Morgan Wills von Lohr III, 87, of Centerville Ohio entered into eternal life on October 28, 2020. He was born on March 20, 1933 in Ogdensburg, New York to Morgan Wills von Lohr II and Janie (Price) von Lohr. He is survived by his wife of 63 years Marilyn Louise (Smith) von Lohr; children Morgan von Lohr IV (wife Julie), Michelle Bohus (husband Mike), Kimberly Click (husband Kent), Stephanie Weikert (husband Nick) and Deborah von Lohr (son Derek Coffey). He was blessed with 10 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren.
Morgan graduated from Troy High School and entered the United States Air Force in 1952. He retired as a Lt. Colonel in 1972 after 20 years of service earning the Bronze Medal for distinguished service. In 1966, as the B-52 Aircraft Commander he won the 1966 SAC Bombing Competition Muir S. Fairfield Trophy. Following his military career he worked and retired from Hobart Corporation, Troy Ohio after 25 years of employment. He enjoyed spending time with his family, working in the yard and countless hours at his favorite pastimes, bowling and visiting Bill's Donuts in Centerville Ohio. He fell victim to the COVID-19 virus and will be missed by all who called him husband, dad, papa, grandpa, great grandpa and friend. There will be a Memorial Mass on Friday November 13, 2020 at 11:00am at Incarnation Catholic Church, 55 Williamsburg Lane (off of Rt. 48).
