Norman Lee Stamper, 62, went home to be with the Lord on February 25, 2026. He is survived by the love of his life, Lee Price; his sister, Kimberly Stamper; his nephew, Scott(Keitha)Stamper; his sister, Deb(Danny)Lister; his cousin, LeeAnne Abel and his bonus family: Wanda and Jesse Sanders, Brad(Melissa)Sanders, Laronda(Jeff)Wendall, and Steve(Barb)Sanders. Norm was blessed to have so many wonderful friends and family who love him more than words can say.
Norm's goal was to always make people laugh. All who knew him were touched by his humor, humility, and quiet strength. Norm loved his career as a ready-mix driver; you couldn't find a person more fully devoted or who worked harder than him at making his customers happy.
Norm proudly served his country in the U.S. Army. His military career, honorably discharged as an SP-4, took him from his small hometown of Xenia, Ohio to Missouri, Washington state, Honduras, and Germany.
Norm is preceded in death by his beloved mother, Elizabeth; and grandparents, Arthur and Lena. Norm was truly the "golden child of the family" and he loved it. Though his passing has taken so much laughter from this world, Norm will be remembered by those left behind for his heart, his kindness, his effort, and his love for his friends and family.
A Gathering of Family and Friends will be held at Woodland Mausoleum Chapel, 118 Woodland Avenue, Dayton, Ohio 45409, on March 14, 2026, beginning at 1:00 pm.
Final resting will be at Woodland Cemetery Dayton, Ohio.
