WHITT, Oxford, age 85 of Beavercreek, passed away Monday, July 23, 2012 at Miami Valley Hospital. He is preceded in death by his 3 sisters and 2 brothers. Oxford is survived by his wife, Wanda Whitt; daughters, Kelly Whitt and husband Keith Delaney of Beavercreek, Cynthia and husband Robert Martin of Huntsville, OH, and Theresa and husband Wayne Crew of Springfield; five grandchildren William Vest, Amy Downing, Robert Martin Jr., Damian Delaney and Jade Delaney and four great-grandchildren, numerous nieces and nephews, He served in the United States Navy during WWII and retired from General Motors after 30 years. Funeral services will be 1:00 PM Thursday, July 26, 2012 at TOBIAS FUNERAL HOME – BEAVERCREEK CHAPEL, 3970 Dayton-Xenia Rd. at Grange Hall. Pastor Mark Martin officiating. Interment Dayton Memorial Park Cemetery. His family will receive friends from 12:00 PM until the time of service Thursday at the funeral home.
