

Boninsegna, Pauline F, an extremely special lady, lost her fight for life to pancreatic cancer on Friday, December 2, 2016. She resided in Dayton, Ohio, but was born and raised on a farm in Bluefield, WV. She was 92 years young. Pauline was preceded in death by her father, Pownee Spangler and her mother Myrtle (Bowman) Spangler; her five siblings, Brack Spangler, Alfred T. Spangler, Gene Spangler, Doddley Spangler and Oma J. (Hayhoe) Spangler. She was also preceded in death by her loving husband of 51 years, Ernie R. Boninsegna, in 1989; her daughter Gina M. (Roach) Boninsegna and grandson Rodney E. Roach. Pauline also lost a son, Alfred E. Boninsegna to lung cancer. She is survived by her oldest daughter, Marie J. (Dalton) Boninsegna; son, Richard D. and his wife Beverly (Strange) Boninsegna and her loving son and caregiver,Gary Boninsegna. Pauline also leaves many nieces and nephews, along with numerous grandchildren, great- grandchildren and great-great grandchildren. She loved her family and friends. Pauline also truly loved to cook for all, especially making and donating her baked goods to Holy Trinity Church for their fundraisers. She went to church regularly until she fell ill. A mass of Christian Burial will be held Friday, December 9, 2016 at Holy Trinity Catholic Church, 272 Bainbridge St. Dayton, OH 45402 at 10 AM. Interment will follow in Calvary Cemetery. The family will receive friends Thursday, December 8, 2016 from 5PM-8 PM at Tobias Funeral Home, 3970 Dayton-Xenia Rd. Beavercreek, OH 45432.
