Peggy Kessler

KESSLER, Peggy Ann, age 83, of Oakwood, peacefully passed away while on vacation in Pensacola Beach, FL., on Saturday, April 7, 2012. She was the loving wife, of 59 years, to William “Bill” Kessler. Together they raised six wonderful children, James(Theresa) of Tampa, Fl., David(Mary) of Springfield, KY., Barbara(Jon)Lane of Bloomfield Hills MI., Laura(Mark)Walters of Kettering, OH., Paul(Tammy) of Kettering, OH., and Jean(Joe)Lang of Peoria, ILL., 20 grandchildren; Davis, Elizabeth, and Lela Kessler; Michael and Mark Kessler; Tony, Tim, Nancy, Tom, and Kevin Walters; Abby and Katie Lane; Sarah, John and Amy Lang; Matt, Michael, Emily, Anna, and Sam Kessler, one great-grandson Luca Leques. Peggy will also be missed by her only sibling Carol Hildebrecht, and a host of nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents John and Lela Sylvis as well as her infant daughter Mary Rose Kessler. Peggy was a graduate of Seton Hill College with a degree in Dietetics, and was a 50 year member of the American Dietetic Association. She was a member of Virginia Hollinger Memorial Tennis Club and will be greatly missed by her tennis friends. She will also be missed by her many friends at Hithergreen Senior Center. Family to receive friends at the TOBIAS FUNERAL HOME-Far Hills Chapel Thursday, April 12, 2012 from 5:00 to 8:00pm. Mass of Christian Burial will be held 12 noon Friday, St. Albert the Great Church.
