

Easter, Penelope J., “Penny”. Age 64 of Beavercreek, passed away Sunday, July 5, 2015 at Hospice of Dayton. She was preceded in death by her father, Michael Afendoules. She is survived by her husband of 44 years, Richard Easter, and her mother, Georgia Afendoules. Her children also survive her: son, Michael Easter of Dayton and daughter, Christine Hammer of Beavercreek, as do her twin grand-daughters, Sophia and Alexandra Hammer. She is survived by three sisters: Mimi Jergens and husband Mark of MT, Marianne Lerro and husband John of PA and Katherine Emmenegger and husband Urs of CA, as well as several nieces and nephews. Penny worked for forty years as receptionist and office manager for the dental practice of Dr. Kenneth Manifold and Dr. Stephen Joseph; her ready smile and kind demeanor made her dearly loved by coworkers and patients. She was a loving and dedicated grandmother to her twin grand-daughters. Friends may call at the Tobias Funeral Home Beavercreek Chapel, 3970 Dayton-Xenia Rd. on Thursday evening, July 9 from 5-8 PM. Funeral services will be held at 10:30 AM Friday, July 10, 2015 at the Annunciation Greek Orthodox Church, 500 Belmont Park N., Dayton, OH, 45405. Interment will be in Woodland Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Hospice of Dayton in Penny’s memory.
