Ralph E. Hildebrand

HILDEBRAND, Ralph E., age 73 of Beavercreek, passed away unexpectedly on Monday, June 27, 2016. He is survived by his wife of 47 years Anita Hildebrand, daughters CAPT Ralita Hildebrand, USN (Lt. Col. Justice “Mike” Chambers III, USMC Ret.) and CDR Paula Hildebrand Travis, USN (LCDR Henry Travis, USN Ret.), granddaughters Grace Chambers, Helen Chambers, Elizabeth “Libby” Travis, Jane Chambers and Emma Travis, and cousins Susan (Bruce) Morrett, Linda (Eric) Greulich and Patty Pierce. Ralph graduated from Milton-Union High School and later earned his B.S. at Wright State University. He went on to teach for Fairborn City Schools where he was a science teacher at Baker Junior High School, now Fairborn Middle School, for 30 years. He coached high school girls basketball, softball, and swimming and junior high football, softball, and baseball. He himself was an outstanding athlete and was inducted into the Milton Union High School Athletic Hall of Fame in 2011 for his accomplishments in football. He will be greatly missed.
