Ralph E. White

WHITE, Ralph E, 96, of Dayton, Ohio, passed away peacefully at Emeritus Assisted Living Facility Wednesday. He will be missed by many. Ralph enjoyed working at Wright Patterson Air Force Base, WPAFB Rod & Gun Club and operating his own car repair business for many years. He was preceded in death by: his wife, Eldena; daughter, Norma Slagle; sister, Thelma Derringer; brothers, George and Paul White; and grandson, Brian Slagle. He is survived by: brothers: Harold White of Englewood, and Nelson White of Tennessee; daughters; Doris Newkirk of San Juan, Texas, Pattie (Jim) McCoy of Columbus, Ohio, and Susan (Roger) Vacca of Dayton, Ohio; 11 grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren along with their numerous children. Funeral Services will be held at Tobias Funeral Home, 648 Watervliet Ave. at Fauver Ave, on Monday, February 10, 2014 at 11:00am with Pastor Steve Kimpel officiating. Visitation will take place on Sunday, February 9, 2014 at the funeral home from 3:00pm until 5:00pm. He will be laid to rest at Glen Haven Memorial Gardens in New Carlisle, Ohio alongside his wife and daughter. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Acclaim Hospice in Ralph’s memory.
