Raymond Henry Kasel

KASEL, Raymond H. age 93 of Bellbrook, OH passed away at home on Thursday, August 31, 2017. Raymond was born in Pueblo, CO on December 17, 1923 to Louise and John Kasel. His loving wife of 51 years Mary predeceases him. He is survived by daughters Patti (Jim) Brady, Mary Lou (Mark) Edsall, and Maureen Stockhouser; sons, Ray (Galina), Donny, Jim (Theresa), Mike, and Tom. Many grandchildren and great grandchildren also survive him. Grandchildren Jennifer, Jimmy, Mark, Ray, and John were especially close to him. Ray was a devoted husband, father, and grandfather. Yearly family vacations to Colorado were important to him and he loved to go fishing in Gunnison. He taught his children many things, but most importantly, to work hard to succeed. He graduated from Denver University with a degree in electrical engineering and retired from WPAFB. He was honorably discharged from the Navy after serving during WWII. Mass of Christian Burial 10:30 am Tuesday Sept. 12, 2017 at Incarnation Catholic Church, 7415 Far Hills Ave. Centerville, OH 45459. Interment, Calvary Cemetery.
