BENNETT, Renata, age 51 of Dayton, Ohio passed away Friday, August 3, 2012, at Good Samaritan Hospital, following a lengthy illness. She is survived by her husband, Roy Bennett; daughter, Rachel Edwards; Mother, Lilly Arkenberg; father, Alex Sokolow of Albion, Michigan; sisters, Katy Walden and Angeline James; grandmother, Olga Weber; Aunt Rose Zwirner; and a host of others. Renate graduated from Albion College with a BA in Science. She worked for the City of Dayton waste water treatment plant for over 20 years. She was a member of the Living Word Church in Vandalia, Ohio. The family will receive friends at the TOBIAS FUNERAL HOME–FAR HILLS CHAPEL, 5471 Far Hills Ave. at Rahn Rd, Monday, August 6, 2012, from 5:30 to 7 pm. Funeral service 11 am Tuesday, at the funeral home. Interment, Dayton Memorial Park Cemetery.
