Clement, Robert J., age 91 of Dayton, passed away Friday, May 11, 2012 at Hospice of Dayton. He was preceded in death by his wife, Kathryn L. Clement in 2010. He is survived by his children: daughters, Sister Mary Rose Clement, UOLC, Kathy R. (Ed) Fairchild and sons: Robert E. (Melanie), Richard J. (Pat), and Charles B; four grandchildren and one great-grandchild. Robert was a US Army Veteran of World War II; he served in the 12th Armored Division in the European Theatre during the Ardennes, Rhineland and Central European Campaigns. He was a member of Immaculate Conception Church and sang in the men’s choir. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at Our Lady of the Immaculate Conception Church, 2300 S. Smithville Rd. at 10 AM on Wednesday May 16, 2012 by Fr. Dave Brinkmoeller. Interment to follow at Calvary Cemetery. Friends may call Tuesday, 5 – 8 PM at the TOBIAS FUNERAL HOME- Belmont Chapel, 648 Watervliet Ave. at Fauver.
