

HALSALL Sr., Robert James “Bob”, age 68 passed away unexpectedly but is now at peace with his Lord and Savior, Monday, July 16, 2012. Bob was born in Sacramento, California to the late Gilbert and Lucille Halsall, November 23, 1943. He is also preceded in death by his sister Darla Briggs. Bob was employed as a program analyst, for the United States Air Force, with over thirty years of service. He began his career at the Sacramento Air Logistics Center in California, then to Wright Patterson Air Force Base on to Washington DC and back to Wright Patt prior to retirement. Bob was a life member of the Sterling Virginia Volunteer Rescue Squad. In the mid to late 1960’s he was very active with the Fairborn Auxiliary FOP. Bob was the past president and current manager of the Sycamore Creek Home Owners Association. He was also a member of the Miami Valley Chapter of the Mended Hearts Association and the Sugar Creek United Presbyterian Church. Bob is survived by his wife Judy Halsall, children: Bob(Tova), Dan(Laura), April(Gary)Hayes, and Jason(Karen), grandchildren: Mathew, Jeremy, Richelle, Brittany, Kirstie, Blake, Alex, Emily, Josh, Tyler, Brandon,and Lauren, great-grandchildren: Travis, Gavin and Mason, sisters: Norma Bargstadt and Paula Link both of Sacramento, CA., mother-in-law Dorothy White, sister-in-law Janice Studebaker, a host of nieces and nephews, many aunts, uncles, cousins and dear friends. Family to receive friends 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM Friday, July 20, 2012 at the TOBIAS FUNERAL HOME- Far Hills Chapel. Funeral service 10:00 AM Saturday at the Sugar Creek United Presbyterian Church 4417 Bigger Rd. Kettering, OH 45440 with the Rev. Dr. Julia Wharff Piermont officiating. Burial will follow at the Miami Valley Memory Garden Cemetery.
