Robert Lee Kenley Sr.

It is with heavy hearts and deep love that we announce the passing of Robert Lee Kenley, Sr., age 83, of Centerville, Ohio, who left us on Wednesday morning, June 19, 2024. Robert was born in Dayton, Ohio, he was the cherished son of Gladys Kenley Ewing and Herbert Kenley. He now joins his mother, Gladys, his father, Herbert, his beloved siblings, Herbert and Charles, and his stepfather, James Ewing, in eternal rest.

Robert dedicated his professional life to the mortgage banking business, retiring in 2008 after a distinguished career. Beyond his professional accomplishments, Robert's true passion lay in cheering for his Ohio State Buckeyes and cherishing moments with his family and friends.

Robert's memory lives on through his devoted wife of 27 years, Belinda, his loving son, Robert Jr., and daughter-in-law, Cindy. He was a proud stepfather to Emily and her husband, Josh, and an adoring grandfather to Jacob and Zachary. Robert is also survived by his beloved stepbrother, James Ewing.

To celebrate Robert's remarkable life, a gathering will be held at The Golf Club at Yankee Trace in Centerville, Ohio, on Saturday, July 27th, 2024 from 2-4pm.

In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that contributions be made in Robert's name to Ohio Hospice (http://www.ohioshospice.org/dayton/), an organization that helped the family bring peace and comfort to Robert’s life in his final days.
