

Robert "Bob" Snyder, 70, of Dayton, OH, passed away on July 10, 2023. Bob was a loving and kind individual, known for his gentle soul and big heart, especially when it came to animals. He had a special affinity for cats and welcomed them into his home with open arms. In his younger years, Bob also bred and cared for Rottweilers, showcasing his dedication to the well-being of animals.
One of Bob's passions was decorating for the holidays, particularly Halloween and Christmas. His neighbors marveled at the elaborate and joyous displays he created, which lit up the night and brought happiness to all who saw them. Each year, they eagerly anticipated the new additions that Bob would unveil.
Bob had a contagious smile that could light up a room. His warm and friendly nature endeared him to everyone he met. He will be deeply missed by all who had the pleasure of knowing him.
Bob is survived by his loving wife, Tina Prell Snyder, as well as his stepchildren Terry Prell, Anthony Prell, and Catherine Martin. He is also survived by his nieces Charity Norman, Heather Pishney, and Jacinta Snyder, and nephew Scott Snyder. Bob was preceded in death by his mother Shirley Snyder, father George Snyder, brothers Ed Snyder and Dave Snyder, and sister Katherine Snyder.
Bob graduated from Springfield High School in 1971 and went on to have a successful career at Dmax Ltd, where he worked as a team member on the crank line for the past 23 years. His dedication and hard work made him an integral part of the company.
In his free time, Bob enjoyed woodworking, gardening, and indulging his passion for holiday decorations. These hobbies brought him great joy and allowed him to express his creativity.
Family and friends are invited to attend a visitation for Bob on Wednesday, July 26, 2023, from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at Tobias Funeral Home, located at 3970 Dayton Xenia Road, Beavercreek, Ohio 45432. A funeral service will follow the visitation at 6:00 PM.
Bob Snyder will be remembered for his loving nature, his dedication to animals, and his joyous holiday decorations. He leaves behind a legacy of kindness and warmth that will continue to touch the lives of those who knew him.
