Bob is survived by his wife of 52 years Alicia (Lickliter)Whitesell, daughter Rebecca(Steve)Steinbarger, grandson Jordan(Amber)Steinbarger, great-granddaughter Zoey Steinbarger, sister-in-law Reginia Lickliter and a host of nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews. He is preceded in death by his son Randy Whitesell, sister Lillian Britton, grandson Dustin Steinbarger, and brother-in-law Sam Lickliter.
Bob was a 1958 graduate of Belmont High School. He retired from the Bode Finn Company in Cincinnati as an aftermarket and product care manager. He and Alicia retired to Lakewood Ranch, Florida for 24 years before returning to the Dayton area in 2024.
An interment for Bob will be held in David’s Cemetery at the convenience of the family. The family wishes to thank Day City Hospice for the kind, loving care given to Bob and the family, with a special thank you to Andrea, Cassie, and Yolanda.
Donations can be made in his memory to the Dayton Children’s Medical Center, St. Jude, or the Day City Hospice.
