Rowena Hines

Rowena F. Hines, age 79, passed away on Friday, January 23rd, 2015 at Soin Medical Center. She was born in Fort Scott, KS on February 10th, 1935, the daughter of Arthur H. and Nola (Inman) Pitts, who preceded her in death. Rowena was preceded in death by her daughter, Sheila Howard and husband, Norm Hines. She is also preceded in death by 3 sisters, Josephine Michael, Grace Buford and Helen Hood, and 6 brothers, David Lusk, Edward Lusk, James Pitts, John Pitts, Harold Pitts and Joseph Pitts. Rowena is survived by her son, Roger (Heather) Wiggans, sister, Juanita Schroeder, brothers, Calvin and Pete Pitts, grandchildren, Joyell, Amanda, Pamela and Hannah, great-grandchildren, Jessica, Jeremy, Adell and Kayla and special niece, Carolyn (Dave) Swiler. Rowena was a true woman of strength and courage who was tough as nails but had a heart of gold. She will be missed dearly by all of her family and friends.
