Ruby J. Critchell

CRITCHELL, Ruby, age 74 of Kettering, passed away peacefully at her home Thursday, March 15, 2012. Ruby was so loved by her family who surrounded and cared for her until her departure to heaven to join her Lord, and her loving husband of 54+ years, Stephan Critchell. Ruby was born on November 16, 1937 in Morrow, Ohio to John and Hattie (McGuire) Day and raised in West Liberty, Kentucky. In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by three sisters and six brothers. She is survived by her son, Timothy Shane Critchell and his wife Irish; daughter, Stephanie Singer and her husband Greg; grandchildren, Stephen Shane Seymour, Nikki (Matt) Deshotel, Lindsey (Aaron) Hunt, Brandy Wilson, Casey, Cristy, Aaliyah, Chico, Amber & Steve Critchell, Chad Singer, Ryan Singer, Emily (Victor) Rooney; 14 great grandchildren; a brother Bill (Eva) Day, mother-in-law Virginia Critchell, brother-in-law, Robert (Bev) Critchell, sister-in-laws, Edna Day Lunde , Anne Gladwill and Diana (Howard) Kuhnell and many dearly loved nieces and nephews. Ruby was retired from Wright Pratt Credit Union. She was a former volunteer with Kettering Medical Center, attended Southbrook Christian Church and was a long time member of County Line Baptist Church. She was a wonderful wife, mother, nini, sister, aunt, friend to all. Her smiles, giggles, laughter and competitiveness to win will be long remembered.
