Sandra Adair Lester

Sandra (Adair) Lester, age 62, passed away Thursday October 1, 2020 at Soin Medical Center. She was born January 20 1958 to Sammie and Oleta Adair. Sandy was a graduate of Belmont HS, class of ‘76 and she continued her education with an associate degree after starting a family. She most recently worked at South Community Inc, where she adopted many wonderful people as her extended family. Sandy was a light in an otherwise dark world and anyone who knew her loved her for her kind and giving spirit. She knew no stranger and welcomed everyone with delicious treats that fed the body as well as the soul and the best handmade gifts. She is preceded in death by her father Sammie, sister Janie, grandmother Shirley, uncle Jack, and nephew Nicholas. She is survived by her children, daughters Samantha (Sean) Grillot, Natalie Lester, and son Anthony Lester. She is also survived by her mother Oleta Adair, sisters Lisa (Kevin) Ringler, Tina (Tom) Adair, and brothers Roger (Linda) Adair and Gary (Gayle) Adair. The little people in life who knew her as Mammy include her grandchildren Veronica, Zoe, and Xavier as well as, Tarah, Erickah, Alyssah, Elijah, and Rhian. They will miss the many hugs, kisses, and take home treats from their Mammy. A host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and other family, adopted or otherwise, will greatly miss a wonderful mother, sister, daughter, mammy, and friend. Family, friends, and those whose lives were touched by Sandy are welcome to join her family in mourning and remembrance at Tobias Funeral home 3970 Dayton Xenia Rd, Dayton OH 45432 on Thursday Day October 8, 2020 from 5:30 PM until 7:30 PM. On Friday, October 9, 2020 at 10:00 AM (sharp) a vehicle procession will leave the funeral home parking lot to process to Willowview Cemetery for Burial. Social Distancing and use of Face Masks Required at both events.
