Sarah Bauer

BAUER, Sarah F. (Ragan) age 98, went to be with her Lord and Savior Sunday, June 5, 2011, which would have been her 74th wedding anniversary. Sarah was born May 30, 1913 in Dickson County, TN. to the late James and Stella(Turner)Ragan. She is a past member of Patterson Park Church. Sarah is remembered by her children as a true prayer warrior who loved reading her Bible and her relationship with Jesus. She also enjoyed square dancing and playing pinochle. She is preceded in death by her loving husband Philip Bauer, their son David Philip Bauer, their granddaughter Jamie Ward, and their great-grandson Jacob Gillespie. Sarah leaves to cherish her memory; her daughters: Marilyn(Richard)Grimm of Springboro, Ragan(Carter)Dye of Scottsdale, AZ., Sue Anne May of Brookville, and Melinda Henger of Bellbrook, her son Steven(Susan)Bauer of Lawrence, KS, sister Mattie Kincaid of Kettering, grandchildren: Stephanie Denise Civdad, Richard Eric(Diane)Grimm, Jennifer(Terry)Gillespie, Tiffany May(Izaak)Clark, Carinne Henger, Luke(Kate)Bauer, Tyler Henger, Eva(Luke)Schooler, and Alex May, eleven great-grandchildren, and one great-great-granddaughter. Family to receive friends Thursday, June 9, 2011 from 11:30 AM until time of service at 1:00 PM at the TOBIAS FUNERAL HOME-Far Hills Chapel; with Steven Bauer and Elijah Grimm officiating. Burial will follow at the Miami Valley Memory Gardens Cemetery. In lieu of flowers contributions may be made in Sarah’s memory to the Giddeon Bibles.
