Shirley Yvonne Rineer

RINEER, Shirley Yvonne nee Meade, age 65 of Chesapeake, VA passed away at home with her husband by her side on Sunday, December 11, 2011. She was preceded in death by her parents, Kermit and Marcella Meade; sister, Yolanda Fern Faulkner and her husband Larry Faulkner; father-in-law Irvin Rineer and nephew, Brian Douglas Rineer. Shirley is survived by her husband of 33 years, Doug Rineer; sister, Marsha (Danny) Kelley; nephews, Jason and Jarrod Kelley, Scott and Jon Faulkner, Don Rineer and David Kelly; nieces, Denise Rineer and Heather Russell; mother-in-law, Jeanne Rineer; brother-in-law, Don (Donetta) Rineer and sister-in-law, Janice (Bill) Russell. She had a great love of gospel music and was a former member of The Chapel Keys Gospel Singing Group for many years. Shirley was a very strong Christian who was devoted to nursing home ministry. Funeral services will be 1:00 PM Saturday, December 17, 2011 at TOBIAS FUNERAL HOME – BEAVERCREEK CHAPEL, 3970 Dayton-Xenia Road. Pastor Scott Sliver officiating. Interment Centerville Cemetery. Her family will receive friends from 12:00 PM until the time of services on Saturday at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be given to Southbrook Christian Church, Cancer Hope Ministry, 9095 Washington Church Road, Miamisburg, Ohio 54342 and made payable to Southbrook Christian Church (note Rineer in memo line).
