Stephen Anthony Gillotti

Gillotti, Stephen A., age 50, passed away Thursday September 29, 2016. Steve was employed with Miami Valley Hospital for 26 years and has worked for Craneware Inc. for the past year. He actively helped in his family’s business, Gilly’s Nightclub. He was an active member of St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Church where he taught religious education. Steve graduated from Alter High School and the University of Dayton. He loved sports and willingly accepted substantial grief for being a Pittsburgh Steelers fan. He was a master vacation planner and always looked forward to the next vacation. Steve was a wonderful husband and father. His children were his greatest joy! He is survived by his wife of 19 years, Cindy (Snyder) Gillotti; children, Katie, Maria and Dominic Gillotti; parents, Winnie and Jerry Gillotti; mother and father-in-law, Mike and Lois Snyder; brother, Mike (Paula) Gillotti; sister, Cathy Gillotti; great aunt, Mildred Gillotti; and numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends all of whom held a special place in his heart. Visitation will be Wednesday from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Tobias Funeral Home, 5471 Far Hills Ave. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Thursday at 10:30 a.m. at St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Church. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery. In lieu of flowers memorials may be directed to a Memorial Fund established on behalf of the Gillotti Children at any Wright Patterson Credit Union or to Hospice of Dayton.
