

Ferra, Teresa, “Teri”. Age 62 of Dayton, passed away peacefully Saturday, December 12, 2015 at home following a 15 year battle with liver disease. She was preceded in death by her parents, Clarence and Juanita (Massie) Brown and a step-daughter, Michele Cross. She is survived by her husband of 20 years, Pete Ferra and daughter, Monica Malone. A granddaughter, Kyleigh R. Smith also survives her, as does a sister, Nanci Dodgson and husband Jack, a brother, Jay R. Brown and wife Molly, a step-daughter, Barbara A. Ling and husband Stephen, step-son, Peter F. Ferra III and wife Stephanie, and step-son-in-law Lee Cross. She is also survived by eight step-grandchildren that loved her dearly and called her Nana Teri, and three nephews and one niece. She finished her professional career as the Director of Corporate Affairs for CDO Technologies, Inc. She enjoyed golfing, watching her granddaughter’s gymnastics competitions and traveling, as well as playing Bingo and dancing. Her greatest joy was spending time with family and friends; she was loved by many and will be dearly missed. Friends may call at the Tobias Funeral Home Beavercreek Chapel, 3970 Dayton-Xenia Rd., on Friday, December 18 from 4-6:30 PM, with funeral services immediately following.In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Hospice of Dayton in Teri’s memory.
