Thomas John Rummel

Tom beloved husband of Joanna Rummel, together for 55 years. Loving father of Kara Rummel, John (Sandy) Rummel, Suzanne (Joe) Routson, and JJ (Brian) Jones. Grandfather of Beth (Aaron), Julie, Sierra, Taylor, Austin, Caden, Caroline, Jillian, Brynn, Thomas, Tessa, and Reid. Super Grandpa to Maley and Crosley. Survived by his brother Dave (Jessica) Rummel and many other relatives and friends.

He is preceded in death by his daughter, Krista, and grandson, Brody. Also, by his parents, Alfred and Marion (Steckert) Rummel, and brother Ted Rummel.

Tom loved to attend events and cheer on his grandchildren. He also enjoyed traveling and spending winters in Fort Myers, Florida, where he was a charter member of the Brandywine Pickleball Club. He was a devoted member of Epiphany Lutheran Church. Volunteered with Habitat for Humanity, West Carrollton Schools, and Junior Achievement. Tom was easily recognized around town in his red Mustang convertible and that became his trademark as a Coldwell Banker Agent.

A visitation will be held from 3:00 to 4:30 p.m. Friday, April 5, 2024 at Epiphany Lutheran Church, 6430 Far Hills Ave., Dayton, Ohio 45459, with the funeral service at 4:30 p.m. Private burial at Calvary Cemetery
