Porter, Virgil age 88 of Kettering passed away Wednesday July 1, 2015 at Oak Creek Terrace. Virgil was preceded in death by his parents Thomas and Calie "Watts" Porter. He is survived by his wife of 68 years, Phyllis; 2 sons, Steven of California, Gary (Mary) of Washington Township; grandchildren, Zachary (Yvette), Kristin (Dan), Adrienne (Eric), Casey (Doug); great grandchildren, Erich, Anna, Caleb, Carson, Logan, Annabelle, Liam, Mesa, Taitum. Virgil retired from N.C.R., member of the Masonic Lodge, and a very active member of Faith Lutheran Church. He was a cofounder of Patterson Park Little League where he enjoyed coaching for years. He also was an avid fisherman. Funeral Services 10 am Tuesday July 7, 2015 at the Tobias Funeral Home 5471 Far Hills Ave at Rahn Rd. Pastor Monte Stevens officiating. Interment in David’s Cemetery.
