

Welfred A.Stahl, age 90 of Dayton, passed away Monday, February 9, 2015 at the Ohio Masonic Home in Springfield. Welfred was preceded in death by his parents. All three of his sons, Tom Stahl, John Stahl and Chuck Stahl also preceded him in death. He is survived by his wife of 68 years, Phyllis Stahl. A brother, Larry Stahl also survives him, as do two sisters: Alberta Passon of FL and Arlene Macy of AZ, as well as his daughter-in-law, Becky Sottoway. His grandchildren also survive him: Sara Beiring and husband Anthony, NiKole Lytle and husband Michael, Brigitte Dunga, Kathleen Stahl and Sean Stahl, as do his great-grandchildren, Isabella and Luke Beiring, Jordan, Brittany and Emily Lytle and John, Paul and Elizabeth Stahl and his special canine companions Shiloh and Tuffy. Welfred was a USMC Veteran of World War II. Upon returning home he was employed for 37 years as a draftsman at Wright-Patterson AFB. He was a member of ALPCA and the DAV and was a member of the Beavercreek, OH and Largo, FL Masonic lodges. Throughout his life, Welfred was a magnificent example of a loving husband, father and grandfather. Friends may call at the Tobias Funeral Home Beavercreek Chapel, 3970 Dayton-Xenia Rd. on Saturday, February 14, 2015 from 10 AM until 11:30 AM. The funeral service will be held at 11:30 AM Saturday, February 14 at the funeral home. Interment will be in Glen Haven Memorial Gardens.
