

Age 87, of Centerville, passed away suddenly June 2, 2011. “Bill” was a WWII Veteran who fought in Europe as a member of the 56th Armored Infantry Battalion of 12th Armored division of the 7th Army where he earned a Bronze Star and Purple Heart. Retired from IBM after 25 years of service and 5 years at NCR, he was a member of American Legion post 598 and VFW Post 9550. As a Freemason he was member of Toldeo Lodge 613, the Scottish Rite Valley of Dayton, and the Antioch Temple Shrine. He is preceded in death by his parents Augusta and Thomas, his sisters Alice Frome and Connie Berry and his Brothers Gordon and Donald John O’Neill. He is survived by his Loving wife and Best Friend of 55 years, Mary, his loving children Cathy and Bill, 5 grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews. Bill was an amazing man who was loved by all who knew him and the world has lost a very special man. Family will greet friends at the TOBIAS FUNERAL HOME – FAR HILLS CHAPEL. 5741 Far Hills Ave, at Rahn Rd. Monday June 6th, 2011 between 10am and Noon.
