Wilma Jean Reese Simpson

Simpson , Wilma Jean, age 83 of Springboro, peacefully went home with her Lord after a long illness. Mrs. Simpson was a member of Moraine Heights Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, Retired Chief Petty Officer Arvil Simpson. Born August 20, 1932 to Arch and Mamie Reese in McKee, Kentucky, Wilma was one of 14 children. She was no doubt greeted at the pearly gates by those gone on before her. Her loving parents, husband and brothers Link, Arch Jr., Albert and Opal, Clyde and Marie, Homer and Ruby, Willard, Hershel and Naomi, sister-in-law, Margie Reese. Her sisters, Florence and Leo Romes, Aleene and Bill Simpson, and Hazel and Youles Gumm. Survived by her children, Sherry and Dan Kay of Springboro and Bob Simpson of Farmersville. Four grandchildren: Courtney, Mason, Megan Combs and Skyler Simpson. Her brothers Virgil and Hailey Reese, Glenn and Faye Reese of Kentucky and Wayne and Becky Reese of Hamilton, sister-in-law, Helen Reese of Cincinnati and siste4r-in-law, Virgie and Tom McCann. A host of nieces, nephews and friends. Wilma loved her family and they loved her. She made friends everywhere she went and enjoyed making people laugh. Please join us in celebrating her life on Saturday July 9th at Moraine Heights Baptist Church, 5661 Munger Road. Visitation will be from 12:00 to 2:00 p.m. followed by a funeral service beginning at 2:00 p.m., Dr. Terrell K. Hudson officiating. Burial will be in Heritage Hills Memorial Park
