

Anne attended Decatur High School, Montevallo College and Auburn University where she was a member of Kappa Delta sorority. She was a Decatur High cheerleader, band member and in the first graduating class of Decatur High.
Anne truly was a servant leader. Over the years, she served in many organizations. She was the recipient of the Rosie Hennessey Award from the Chamber of Commerce and served as a Commodore for several terms. In addition to the Chamber and Commodore Program, she was a volunteer for the Junior Service League, Newcomers Club of Decatur, Girl Scouts, and the Morgan County Volunteer Center (for more than 25 years). She chaired every committee during her time at the Volunteer Center and served as president of the board twice. She was also an Emma Kate Gray Odell Sheffield award winner for her outstanding volunteer efforts in the community. In addition to her community volunteer work, she was an active member of Westminster Presbyterian Church for 62 years.
Not only did Anne volunteer in the community but she was a respected realtor for over two decades. She always went above and beyond helping families find their perfect home.
Anne’s most cherished hours were spent raising a family. She and her husband of 62 years, Gil, have 4 children, 8 grandchildren and one great grandson.
Anne was preceded in death by her parents, sister, Sara Coleman Pearce and brother, A.J. Coleman.
Survivors are her loving husband, Tillman Gilbert Crane; son Tillman (Donna) Crane, grandsons Andrew Crane and Jacob Crane, Camden, ME; daughter Beth (Glenn) Anderson, Punta Gorda, FL, granddaughter Katherine Anderson, Tuscaloosa, AL; daughter Lee (Rip) Nabors, Decatur AL, granddaughter JoAnne Nabors (Matthew) Decker, Boston MA; grandson Bill Nabors, Birmingham, AL; son Bailey Crane, granddaughters, Lorah Crane, Margie Crane (Michael) Onder, Elizabeth Crane; and one greatgrandson Skyler Crane, Hazel Green, AL and many cherished nieces and nephews.
