Bobby George Black

Funeral Service will be Friday, November 20, 2015 at 11:00 am at Roselawn Funeral Home Chapel with Roy Black, Denton Bowling and Denny Bowling officiating and Roselawn Funeral Home directing.

Visitation will be Thursday, November 19, 2015 from 6:00 pm until 8:00 pm at the funeral home. Burial will be in Roselawn Cemetery.

Mr. Black served his country and retired from the U.S. Navy.

He was born in Athens, AL., August 16, 1926 to Roy and Bertha Black.

He was preceded in death by his parents, grandson: Ethan Black, brother: Billy Black, sisters: Jean Bullington and Martha Herzog.

He is survived by his wife of 26 years: Maverine Black, sons: Roy Nicholas Black (Nancy), daughter: Marilou Derechinsky (Gary), step-daughter: Jeanne Bowling (Denny), grandsons: Jeremiah Black, Joel Derechinsky, Denton Bowling (Haley), granddaughter: Julia Cruzado (Edwardo) and great-grandson: Nicolas Cruzado.

Pallbearers will be Jeremiah Black, Randy Black, Roy Black, Denton Bowling, Joel Derechinsky, Alton Smith, Bobby White, and Jerome Zhand.

Honorary Pallbearers will be men of County Line Church Of Christ.
